Watch the seaplanes land and sailboats pass by as you relax in your oceanfront cottage retreat. Gorgeous sunsets and sweeping views of Pender Harbour are visible from nearly all rooms. Privacy galore on any of the 3 exterior patios totaling over 1000 square feet.

If you want, bring your boat or rent one and tie up to the dock. Catch crabs, oysters and clams right in front of the cabin or fish for salmon and cod. Enjoy all the amenities of home including a large kitchen with all major appliances plus dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, coffee maker, washer, dryer, central vac, etc. All of this just a 2 hour drive from downtown Vancouver including a scenic 45 minute ferry ride.

What is there to do?

A central location for hiking, biking, walking kayaking and boating. Charters and tours are available close by. Catch crab and fish off our dock or pick oysters from the beach.We have deepwater moorage if you come by boat.

Just minutes to groceries, liquor, gas, hardware, etc stores and restaurants in Madeira Park.

Rates

Peak periods (June to September & 15 December to 15 January)

  • $2000-3000/week depending on season
  • $1200-2000 for Monday to Friday depending on season
  • $800-1200 for a long weekend

All stays are 3 night minimum

(Off season rates are at a 30% discount of peak season)

How to get here

Pender Harbour is located on the Sunshine Coast, just north of Vancouver, BC. After a scenic 40 minute ride on B.C. Ferries from Horseshoe Bay, our home is just over an hour's drive up the coast.

  1. From Horseshoe Bay, take the ferry to Langdale.
  2. From the ferry, follow the signs to Gibsons and Highway 101 - then straight through the lights and up the hill.
  3. Go through Gibsons, following the signs to Highway 101. From Gibsons, it is approximately 40 minutes to Pender Harbour.
  4. Approaching Pender Harbour you will come to the Curtis Lumber Mall.
  5. Turn Left at Curtis Lumber onto Francis Peninsula Road and carry on past the Medical Clinic.
  6. Here we are ... Breakwater Boathouse.
